Pasta, ooh la la.... All those floods in the northern midwest are paving the way for some higher prices for pasta. I didn't realize semolina flour was from a different type of wheat than is used in bread, but it looks like we'll all see the impacts of weather on agriculture. With stocks stalled or falling, banks paying zero percent interest, and even real estate prices falling, it looks like the most prudent investment this year may be to stock the cupboard before prices rise.
